Ryan is a Senior Manager with Deloitte Private and has been with the firm for over nine years. He has provided assurance and tax services as well as internal control services to a variety of National and International clients, with a particular focus on private companies in the manufacturing and consumer business industries.
Ryan is a Chartered Professional Accountant in Ontario and completed his Bachelor of Commerce Degree at the University of Windsor with a major in Accounting and minors in Economics and Information Technology Management. Ryan is also actively involved in Canada’s Best Managed Companies Program and works with companies who prepare their financial statements under both IFRS and Canadian ASPE (Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises).
How can we harness technology to make a difference in the world? That’s the question that Jason loves to answer for organizations. With over 10 years of experience spanning the nonprofit and academic sectors both as an employee and a consultant, Jason has consistently helped organizations stay ahead of the technology curve. He currently serves as Associate Director, Digital Strategy and Alumni Relations at Pathways to Education Canada.
Jason teaches Digital Marketing at George Brown College, where he helps students understand the power and potential of digital media and gain the confidence they need to succeed. He frequently writes and speaks about digital marketing strategy, digital fundraising, online youth engagement, website analytics, and digital currency, and has been honoured by several organizations for his work in the nonprofit sector, including the NTEN Award for contributions to the nonprofit technology community as well as Young Alumnus of the Year by the Wilfrid Laurier University Alumni Association, which recognizes the outstanding achievements by a young alumnus.
